As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread, there have been many restrictions and limitations with public events. Many health officials have encouraged social distancing as much as possible to help reduce the spread of the virus.

Due to these strict measures, C4T plans to virtually teach computer programming to its students! This summer, we plan on hosting online classes including Python, Java, Scratch, and Web Development.
We have used Thinkific, a platform used to create your courses. All of our material is provided by our dedicated team of high-school students, who are looking forward to teaching coding concepts to kids this summer.

Our students are given e-learning opportunities to gain an understanding of CS principles. Children can sign up for beginner and intermediate programming classes for Java and Python languages. As our teachers guide them through lessons, many are interactive, hands-on, projects that are meant to engage students. We allow them to get creative with their work by making games and simulations. This will evoke curiosity and discovery while making sure that the student deeply understands the content being taught.

Online classes are a new approach to teaching at C4T, but we are all excited about how it’s going to roll out this summer!
